Bill Thorn entertains the Crowd During Opening

The CURRITUCK COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL is a non-profit organization that has existed for over a decade. As an organization that grew from within the county schools, the organization was transformed into a Community COUNCIL  and has functioned as such for many years.  Approaching nearly 200 membership, we are proud to say we are still growing.  Our members and supporters are your neighbors,  friends,  families, and your local business friends. We hope you will  consider becoming a member/supporter. We continue  providing programming throughout the county. Many have attended our programming events without understanding or knowing they were attending an event Sponsored by the ARTS COUNCIL. We have provided school programming,  Complimentary  MetroBand Concerts,  free Strolling Strings Concerts, & Whalehead  July 4th  entertainment & music to name a few.  Many  people do not realize that the ARTS COUNCIL and its Artists have donated all Art  currently hanging in the Commissioner’s meeting room. This Gallery of Art reminds us of the fullness  and richness of   Currituck.  Arrive early for your next Commissioner’s meeting and take time to experience this slice of Currituck.
