Gourd Art Class, Create 3 Christmas Gourd Art Ornaments. Class will be taught by gourd artist Susan Evans; Saturday, September 28, 10-12 at the gallery. Cost is $10 for supplies and materials.

“Shades of Autumn” Gallery opening, postponed due to Hurricane Irene, is now rescheduled to Friday, September 30, 7:00p.m., Moyock Gallery, Free & open to the public.

We are currently in the process of the event planning for the 12th annual Art Extravaganza show held, March 12, Sat, at Currituck County High School. Enjoy perusing art of varying media. More than 50 artists participating. This is the highlighted show of the year. Admission is free and open to the public.

You are invited to the opening exhibit of Focus on Art, Friday, Dec 3,7-9 at the Gallery. Music by Bill Thorn. The featured artist, Bob Boyette, photographer, will have a short demonstration for us. Sweet and Savories will be served. This exhibit on display currently. Free and open to the public.

The first opening exhibit for the fall is anything TREES. Opening date is set for Friday, September 17, 7-9, at the Council, 126 Campus Dr. Music by local musician, delectables for your eating pleasure, and a bonsai demonstration by Sandy Sanders. Show on display through Nov 30. Free and open to the public.

11th ANNUAL ART EXTRAVAGANZA, Art Show & Sale, March 13, 2010-With over 800 in attendance and free of charge, it was a great way to spend a Saturday (See the posted comments on Blogroll on our home page).

MY CAROLINA Exhibit , Featuring Everything Carolina, Opening event, Friday, April 16, 7-9 The “My Carolina” exhibit will showcase artwork supporting the My Carolina Theme. In addition, a section of the Gallery will feature the unique works of Katherine Wassink, fiber artist. Also featured will be accomplished musician, Cameron Bolish. So, come out and enjoy the Art, Artists, Music, Exquisite Desserts and Hors de’Oeuvres, all in the company of friends. As always, there is no charge and open to the public. On display through June 10.
